Heard someone on the bus say The Bear is too stressful to binge

I get that it's intense with all the yelling and fast cuts, but I finished season 2 in two days because I couldn't stop. The episode where Richie works at the fancy restaurant really got me, though. Anyone else binge it anyway or did you tap out?

lol yeah it's wild how people say that when half the stuff on tv now is straight up anxiety fuel. Like have they seen Succession or Ozark? That's the funny thing about shows hitting too close to home - we marathon the most stressful stuff but then complain about it. The Bear just happens to be loud and fast but it's really just about people trying their best in a broken system. Kinda like how everyone doomscrolls news but then says it's too much.
