Ugh, that's the worst feeling, sorry man. Have you watched The Good Place? It's a complete story with a planned ending that really sticks the landing.

Check out The Good Place like phoenix said, it's a great example. The writers knew the ending from the start, so nothing feels rushed. You get a full story that actually makes sense, which is rare these days.
