TIL that a stranger at a bus stop in Denver convinced me to watch 'The OA'

I was waiting for the 15 bus and this older guy just started telling me about this show where a blind woman comes back with sight and starts recruiting people. He was so specific about episode 3 that I binged it that weekend. Anyone else have a random stranger sell them on a show that actually delivered?

People come up and tell me things like that all the time, it's nice when they're actually right about something good.

Man, that's a good point. But what kind of stuff do people usually get wrong when they come up to you? Is it like the typical "hey I know you from somewhere" or more specific stuff like misremembering a story you told? I'm curious if there's a pattern to the things people just confidently get wrong.
