Watched The Bear in 2 nights after a stranger's rant at the laundromat

I was doing laundry last Tuesday and this guy next to me was on the phone, yelling about how The Bear is the only show that gets restaurant panic right. He said the second season made him cry over a fork. I rolled my eyes at first. But I got curious and started episode one that night. By Friday morning I had finished both seasons. I've never worked in a kitchen, but the way they show family pressure and tiny victories just hooked me. The soundtrack choices alone kept me up late. Has anyone else picked up a show just because a random stranger wouldn't shut up about it?

Man, that's literally how half my best finds happen, strangers are basically free critics with zero filter.
