inHad to pick between paper or plastic at checkout and went with a third weird option
Lmao I feel this so hard. I had the same moment at Aldi once and now I always bring my own reusable bags. I got a cheap nylon one that folds up tiny and fits in my pocket or purse. Dude I stuff like 15 pounds of groceries in that thing and just walk out like I know what I'm doing. No more chip bags exploding or milk getting warm. Plus you look like you have your life together even if you definitely don't.

inMy bank's mobile deposit randomly rejected a $1,200 check from my brother
Bet your brother's bank has a different routing number setup which triggers their fraud alerts.

inI bought a $12 jar of fancy 'gourmet' pasta sauce and it tasted exactly like the $1.50 can from the store
Ha, I read somewhere that most jarred sauces start with the same tomato base anyway.

inFound a way to save $40/month on international wire fees
Pretty sure my bank has been handling my money for 20 years now, and I'd rather pay the extra fees than trust some random app from the internet with my contractor payments. One data breach or frozen account and I'm out way more than $40 a month.
