Shoutout to my first anvil from a garage sale, which went from a rusty doorstop to my main tool after 3 months of grinding and oiling.
The change happened because I finally took the advice from an old guy at the Tacoma guild meeting who said, 'Kid, just keep hitting it with a wire wheel until your arm falls off, then soak it.'
