Hit 50 plays on Wingspan at the local coffee shop meetup
I've been going to this cafe in downtown Austin called Brew & Board every Thursday night for about 8 months now. Last week I realized I just passed 50 total plays of Wingspan there between the meetup games and a few times I brought it camping. It's not a huge number but it felt cool to look back and remember all the different people I've taught it to and the one time someone's cat jumped on the board and scattered all the bird tokens. Does anyone else track how many times they've played a single game across different locations?

I used to think tracking plays was way too nerdy for me. I always just played games and moved on. But seeing you hit 50 on Wingspan across different spots made me reconsider. That cat story got me too, stuff like that is why I remember specific plays now. I started a little notebook after reading this post, just listing what I played and where. Already at 15 plays of Cascadia between my house and a friend's cabin. Helps me remember the good times with each game.

That's exactly what got me too, @adam_robinson. I mean, I started tracking just to see how many times I'd get a game to the table, but now I scribble down little notes like "beat my wife at Splendor on the back porch during a rainstorm" or "taught my nephew Azul at his kitchen table and he crushed me." It's those little details that make the number mean something. I keep a cheap spiral notebook in my game shelf, and flipping through it feels more like a scrapbook than a logbook now. Glad you're finding the same thing with Cascadia, those cabin games are the ones you'll remember.
