PSA: That $70 dice tower from the craft fair cracked after one weekend

I grabbed this fancy wooden dice tower at a local maker market last Saturday, looked solid with nice felt lining. By Sunday night the divider split right down the middle after maybe 12 rolls of my heavier metal dice. I tried wood glue but the felt peeled off and now it wobbles on the table. Anyone else had luck with cheap towers or should I just stick to a simple tray for my D&D nights?

Tape those metal dice down or get softer ones, that tower was made for light plastic. Felt always peels off with cheap glue, it's a known flaw. Simple tray keeps the fun going without babysitting a craft fair gimmick.
