The guy at my FLGS was right about drafting in Commander

Last month at Game Night in Columbus, a regular named Dave told me my 99-card pile was too greedy and I needed more ramp spells for my landfall deck. I laughed it off, figured I knew better since I'd been playing since 2019. Then I played three games that night and got stuck on four lands every single time while everyone else was dropping bombs by turn six. Turns out adding those 8 mana rocks he suggested took me from being the table's punching bag to actually winning two games the next week. I still think he oversells how many board wipes you need, but the ramp thing was dead on. Has anyone else had a random shop regular call your deck out and end up being right?
