I finally quit letting one loud guy run our book club and we finished 3 books in 2 months
Six weeks ago in our Austin club, every meeting turned into a 40 minute rant from the same dude about how the ending of each pick was "objectively wrong," and we never got past chapter 5 of anything. I started a rule where we write thoughts on index cards and draw them at random, and last Tuesday we actually talked about the whole book for the first time since January. Has anyone else had to basically restructure their club to survive one member, or did you just ask them to leave?
