Our book club hit 50 members last week and honestly I'm not sure if that's a good thing anymore
We started with 6 people in my living room two years ago and now there's a waitlist to get into the Thursday group. Last week we hit 50 total members across both nights and the vibe has totally changed. When it was small everyone actually finished the book, now maybe half do and the other half just want to argue about the movie version. Our last pick was 400 pages and I swear 12 people showed up just to say they didn't read it. I get that more people means more views but I miss when we could all sit around one table and actually dig into the writing. Has anyone else watched their club get too big and did you split it up or just let it ride?
