PSA: the $12 bone folder from the art store saved me, the $45 one was a paperweight
Grabbed the cheap plastic one in a pinch at Blick on a Tuesday and it creases signatures cleaner than the fancy teflon one I babied for a year. Anyone else find the budget tool actually outperforms the pricey one, or did I just get lucky with this batch?

Ha, seems like it's just a piece of plastic though. I wouldn't read too much into one good batch, cheap tools can be hit or miss. Give it a few months and see if it still holds up.
