I used to keep all my plants in one sunny window, now I have a light map on my phone
For years I just put every plant on my south-facing windowsill and hoped for the best. About six months ago, my fiddle leaf fig started dropping leaves, so I downloaded a light meter app. I spent a weekend morning checking spots all over my apartment and found my north-facing kitchen gets way more indirect light than I thought. Now I've moved my calatheas there and they're actually putting out new growth. How do you guys figure out the best light spots in your place?

Light mapping was a game changer for me too

What kind of project did you use it on? I started with simple bounce cards for portraits. Then moved to bigger softboxes for product shots. The control over shadows was huge.
