My grandma's old garden journal mentioned something strange about planting by the moon...

I was flipping through her 1972 notebook and found a note that said 'never plant beans on a full moon or they'll rot.' I tried it last season with a small patch and honestly those beans did worse than the ones I planted a week later. Has anyone else found moon phase stuff to actually make a difference in their garden?

Oh come on, you're cherry picking one trial with one crop and acting like it proves centuries of folk wisdom wrong. My great aunt swore by planting root veggies during waning moons and her carrots were always twice the size of mine.

Wait her carrots were TWICE the size? That's wild.
