My pothos looked sad for 2 months because I was watering it on a schedule
I kept a calendar reminder every Sunday and gave it the same cup of water every time, but the soil at the bottom of the pot was still soaked. Turns out I was drowning the roots while the top inch looked dry. Now I stick my finger in 2 inches down and water when it feels like a wrung out sponge. Anyone else get fooled by the top layer trick?
