Roasted my first batch of Ethiopian beans in a $20 popcorn popper, and now my $400 drum roaster sits in the closet
The popcorn popper mod cost me about $20 and a Saturday afternoon, but I get more even roasts and better body from it than anything I ever pulled off the drum, so should I bother keeping the expensive one around or just sell it?
