I hit $50 a week on groceries and it felt like a win
I started tracking my food spending exactly 3 months ago. My goal was to keep it under $100 a week for just me, but last month I averaged $48.72. That includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks with no eating out. The trick for me was leaning hard on dried beans and bulk rice from the bulk bins at WinCo. Got my grocery list down to 12 staple items that rotate. Has anyone else broken a number they thought was impossible for their area?

Oh man I feel you @abby308! Portland prices are no joke.

Ngl that's wild to me. I'm in Portland and just getting milk and eggs alone feels like it eats half that budget. How do you even do beans and rice without getting bored out of your mind by day 3?
