I found out our library offers free passes to local museums if you have a card. Could be a great hack for travelers staying nearby.

Yo @the_david, I totally get where you're coming from, used to shrug off library stuff too. But my branch has video games and free printing, which is huge for a broke student like me. They also host resume workshops and give out seeds for gardening. After checking out audiobooks and study rooms, I'm sold on how much they offer. It's wild how many free resources are just sitting there waiting.

My local library in Fresno has a 3D printer you can book for free. I printed a replacement part for my broken vacuum cleaner last month. People act like libraries are just dusty bookshelves but they're basically community centers with free stuff. David's right that it shouldn't be a secret, but somehow it still is. I see so many folks paying for streaming services while the library gives out free movie passes.
