Can we talk about the $1,200 I found hiding in my grocery budget?
I finally tracked every grocery trip for 3 weeks on a free app and found out I was spending $80 a week on stuff that went bad before I ate it. That's the same as a $320 car payment, and it was just sitting in my fridge rotting. Has anyone else actually measured how much food they toss each week?
Been there and it stings when you add it up. I started meal planning on Sundays and it cut my waste way down, mostly because I stopped buying stuff I had no plan for. That $1,200 is real money, so good on you for tracking it instead of just guessing.
