Lost $80 on a meal kit subscription I forgot to cancel
I signed up for one of those meal kit services back in March to get a discount on my first box. I figured I'd cancel after that, but life got busy and I FORGOT about it for 4 months. By the time I checked my bank statement, they had charged me $80 total for boxes I never even opened. Has anyone else fallen for the "free trial" trap with these services?

The 4 months part is wild. So you just had like four random boxes sitting on your porch or did they even deliver them? I gotta ask though, did you at least try eating one of the meals before you tossed it or did you just look at the rotting veggies and feel the shame tax?
