My sister said my grocery budget was 'just vibes' and she was right...

She looked at my receipts from last month and pointed out I was spending $40 a week on single-serve snacks. I started buying the big bags and portioning them out myself. It cut that line item down to maybe $15. Has anyone else had a friend point out a spending blind spot you totally missed?

Oh man, the "fade into the background" thing is too real. I mean, my bank statement was basically a mystery novel until my buddy saw the $12 a month for cloud storage I haven't used since 2019. Then he found the duplicate music streaming service. My budget wasn't vibes, it was just paying for digital ghosts.

That's a huge savings, good for you. What other "vibes" spending did your sister find? Sometimes one blind spot points to a bigger pattern.

She found three more subscriptions I forgot about, like that meditation app I never open. It's crazy how those small charges just fade into the background.
