Bought a $34 dotted notebook with 160gsm paper after my $8 one bled through 3 pens
I used a cheap notebook for my first two layouts and every pen I owned showed through the page. It made my weekly spread look like a mess, so I finally paid $34 for one with thick paper at a shop in Portland. That paper weight fixed everything, no ghosting, no bleed, and I could use both sides of the page. But here is the burn, the grid is 4mm instead of 5mm, so my habit tracker boxes come out cramped and I have to count squares twice. Six weeks in, I still have not filled it because the tight grid bugs me. Does anyone here plan their layout around grid size first, or do you just deal with it?
