Spent two hours trying to get my monthly calendar to line up right

I was setting up my March spread and decided to draw a simple grid calendar. I thought it would take maybe twenty minutes. I kept messing up the spacing between the boxes, so the days weren't even. I erased and redrew the whole thing three times. It ended up taking me over two hours just to get a clean, straight grid. I felt so silly for such a simple task. Has anyone else had a basic layout take way longer than it should have?

That "perfectionist's paradox" thing is real. I once spent an hour trying to center a single sticker on a box.
