Took me 6 hours to fix a broken zipper on my old backpack

I thought I could just replace the slider myself, but the teeth were misaligned too... ended up having to rip out the whole seam and sew in a new zipper. Anyone else run into this on a pack you really don't want to toss?

@tessa368 yeah exactly, but what did you actually do after that feeling hit? Like did you just sit there frozen or did you try to do something small to break out of it. I remember one time I just paced around my kitchen for like twenty minutes before I could even think straight.
