Got burned giving away a slow cooker that actually worked fine

I listed a working slow cooker on here last month and a woman took it, then came back two days later saying it was broken. I felt bad so I offered to take it back, but when I tested it again it heated up perfectly. She just didn't want to deal with the cook time. Has anyone else had someone claim something was broken when it wasn't?

Yeah I loaned a neighbor my drill once and he returned it saying it was dead, turns out he just didn't push the battery in all the way, which is pretty much my level of technical skill too.

Did you actually just watch her plug it in and turn it on though? People mess up the settings all the time or don't understand that a slow cooker actually takes hours to cook things right.
