Why does nobody account for wood movement in drawer bottoms? Seen 3 jobs this month with glued-in panels.

They're gonna split come winter. I know cause I had to rip out a whole kitchen last year that was built flat in July. Has anyone else seen this get worse lately?

Built flat in July" is basically asking for a fight with physics lol. I swear some people think wood is just frozen water that never moves.

@paige_ellis59 called it. People treat wood like it's a piece of plastic and get mad when it moves. July is basically peak humidity season too. That deck is gonna look like a roller coaster by August.
