Update: My attic crawl taught me a neat cable trick.
I was in my attic and saw how light helps see paths. Now I always bring a bright light on jobs. It makes finding routes much faster.

Yeah I read something similar about safety lights being a game changer. This article said proper lighting cuts down on like 90% of workplace mistakes in tight spaces. Makes total sense once you actually try it.

It's the same reason I keep a headlamp in my car glove box now. You don't realize how bad regular lighting is until you're trying to read a fuse diagram in a dark parking lot. Good light turns a frustrating hunt into a simple task. We just accept bad conditions as normal way too often.
