Random YouTube clip made me realize how much late night cable changed
VCR Plus codes were the real test of patience back in the day. I remember my mom handwriting them into the newspaper margins, double checking each digit before bed. One wrong number and you'd record three hours of static instead of the show you wanted. Now I just hit a button on my phone and it records instantly. Has anyone else got a VCR Plus horror story they laughed about later?

Oh man, that is SO rough. I almost cried just reading that, I can't imagine how your sister felt. Did you guys ever manage to laugh about it at a family gathering later?
