Took me 6 weeks to figure out why my VHS copy of The Goonies kept tracking bad on one TV
Turned out the coax jack on the back of my 1998 Zenith was loose and I'd been blaming the tape the entire time, even bought a second copy off eBay for $14. What's the dumbest fix you've chased for way too long on old AV gear?
