Lost my SDI benefits for 3 months because I missed one form deadline

I forgot to mail back the DE 2501 form by the 15th last March and they cut me off completely. Took me 3 months of calling the San Jose office every week to get them to reinstate it. Anyone else get screwed over by their paperwork timing?

My last client's logo went through 14 rounds of revisions before they ghosted me for two weeks and then asked why their business cards weren't ready yet. Deadlines only work when everyone else sticks to theirs too.
