Took 14 months to get my wheelchair ramp permit approved in Fresno
My contractor swore the city just needed one signature, but after 4 resubmissions and a phone call where the clerk told me 'the flood zone maps updated in 2019, honey,' I finally got the stamp, has anyone else had a permit drag out way past the 30 day estimate?

Figure out if the 2019 flood maps actually changed anything on your property before blaming the city. A lot of times the contractor just misses a detail, and the 30-day estimate is more of a hope than a rule.
