Spent 3 hours on a stuck shutter because of a tiny spring in a Nikon FM2n

It was a single, tiny return spring behind the advance lever that had jumped its post, and I only spotted it after taking the whole top plate off twice. Anyone have a good trick for keeping those little guys in place during reassembly?

Actually lost two of them last month. I mean, they're basically disposable at this point.
