A realtor told me my house photos were killing my listing, she was right

Wide angle actually makes rooms look bigger though, not smaller.

My buddy said the 'chemtrail' stuff was just regular contrails from high altitude planes

Hung out with a buddy who flies cargo planes last weekend. Told him about the chemtrail thing and he just laughed. He was like, "Amy, I can barely get extra soda on my plane without paperwork." Showed me the load sheets for a typical flight - its all math and weight limits. No secret tanks, no extra room for magic dust. Planes are built to carry stuff, sure, but every pound is accounted for from takeoff to landing. That whole theory ignores how flying actually works.

Talked to a landlord at a property auction and it changed my strategy

...and to be honest with you I'm not sure that one bad experience means you need to throw the whole playbook out the window. A guy with 30 doors can afford to be picky about turnkey stuff, but most of us aren't working with that kind of money up front. Deferred maintenance is a risk, sure, but it's not like every roof is going to blow up on you the second you sign the papers. I've seen plenty of folks do fine buying fixers as long as they get a good inspection and budget for it. Seems like this guy just learned a hard lesson early and now he's overcorrecting.

Organized a neighborhood food drive last month and learned the hard way about expiration dates

Did the pantry give you a list of what they actually need?

Blew $30 on a Python automation course that taught me nothing

Honestly, did you guys see that guy on TikTok who spent $50 on a course to learn how to fold a fitted sheet? He ended up just watching a free video from a granny in Ohio, and she showed him the exact same trick in like two minutes. It’s wild how people would rather throw cash at a problem than just dig around a little on their own.
