A random conversation with a mailman made me rethink my whole career path
I was grabbing coffee at a Dunkin in Nashua last week and this older mailman sits down next to me. He asked what I do, I said data entry, and he just laughed and said "you're trading your time for a number someone else controls." Then he told me he started a small lawn care side gig 8 years ago and now it makes more than his postal job. Something about how simple he said it hit me different, like I've been overthinking everything. Has anyone else had a random stranger say something that made you question your whole job?

Dude one random guy at Dunkin doesn't mean you have to quit your whole job tomorrow.

Nah I get it though. Sometimes it's the most random people that say something that just sticks with you. It's not about quitting your job tomorrow, it's more like that little nudge to at least think about what you really want.
