I used to apply to 20 jobs a week with the same resume, now I spend 3 days tailoring one
Back in 2023 I was blasting out 20 applications a week with the same generic resume and got maybe 2 callbacks in four months. Last month I started spending about 3 days rewriting my resume for each of the 5 jobs I actually care about, and I already got 3 interviews. Is this just how it works now, or did I get lucky with the timing?
