TIL that recording your own interview answers for 20 minutes beats any mock interview site
Honestly, I was stuck after 3 failed job interviews last spring, all in the Seattle area. I kept reading answers out loud but my brain froze when the real questions came. So I set my phone to record me answering 10 common questions, like 'tell me about a conflict at work,' and played it back. Hearing my own rambling and filler words was brutal but super helpful, I caught 6 'um's in one answer alone. The next interview, I paused, took a breath, and gave a cleaner story about a project I fixed in 2 weeks. Has anyone else tried audio review, or do you prefer filming yourself on a webcam for the same trick?

Recording my rambling was rough, but way cheaper than therapy.
