My entire plan to switch careers fell apart after one certification exam
I spent like 6 months studying for the PMP exam, paid $555 out of pocket for the test and materials. Then I sat down to take it at a testing center in downtown Phoenix and my computer froze 20 minutes in. They said I could reschedule but I had to wait 2 weeks. By then I had already lost momentum and started second guessing if project management was even for me. Has anyone else had a certification exam just totally derail their plans?

Ask yourself WHY you really wanted the PMP in the first place. Was it the job itself or just the title?
