The 5-minute resume scanner that opened 3 interviews in a week

I kept sending the same resume for months, zero calls. Then a recruiter in Portland told me to run it through a free ATS checker, fix the keywords to match each job posting. Took 5 minutes per application. Got 3 callbacks in 7 days. Anyone else try this or is it just luck?
