Vent: my 'quick' Excel course signup ate my whole lunch break
I needed to finish a mandatory online training for work, the one on data entry basics. They emailed me a link to sign up and I thought it would take 2 minutes, but the portal made me reset my password twice, verify my email through a code that took 10 minutes to arrive, and then answer 5 questions about why I wanted to enroll. By the time I actually clicked 'start', my 45 minute lunch break was over and I hadn't even watched one video. Has anyone else had to deal with a company portal that feels like it's actively trying to make you late?

So did the password reset loop through a manager approval step or was it just the standard "security questions" garbage? Because those five questions about your enrollment reason always feel like they're grading you on your commitment to the training.
