LinkedIn courses vs. real interviews, the gap shocked me

I did a free LinkedIn learning course on behavioral interviews last month, felt super confident. Then I did a mock interview with a career coach in Chicago for $40, and she pointed out my STAR stories were all over the place. The course taught me structure, but it never told me how to handle a follow-up question that throws your whole story off track. Has anyone else found that online prep misses the messy parts that actually show up in real interviews?
