Started labeling my clamp rack with tape after losing 20 minutes hunting for one 6 inch F-style
I spent 20 minutes on a kitchen cabinet job in Concord last Tuesday just looking for a matching pair of 6 inch clamps. I had 14 clamps on the rack and none of them were where I thought. So I grabbed a roll of blue tape and a marker and wrote the size on the bar of every single clamp. Took me about 15 minutes to do the whole rack. Next day I found what I needed in under 30 seconds. Kind of a dumb thing to be proud of but it adds up over a week. Now I'm wondering what else in the truck I should be labeling, what's the one thing in your setup you always waste time digging for?
