The brand new miter saw that cuts worse after 3 weeks
Picked up a new sliding miter saw from the big box store, thought it was a game changer. First few days, perfect miters, zero tearout. Now it's binding on the pull stroke and the bevel angle drifts a quarter degree. Nothing hit it, no drops, kept it clean. I'm wondering if the factory tension on the rails just loosens up or if I got a lemon. Has anyone else seen a saw go south this fast? Should I tear it down and re-grease, or just fight the warranty desk over in Bakersfield?

Your rails aren't loosening, the factory grease dries out and gums up the bearings.
