Finally bit the bullet on a new vacuum system
Was stuck between the basic shop vac setup and a proper HEPA-rated unit, went with the HEPA for about $700. My lungs and the client's white rug in that new West End development thank me, anyone have a favorite brand for the filters?

Why not just open a window instead?

Try opening a window when your neighbor's leaf blower is going, you'll see the appeal.

Read a forum post last week where a guy said his HEPA filter caught so much fine dust it looked like gray felt. Makes you realize what you're breathing in. I've had good luck with the generic brand filters from that big online tool store, they fit my older Fein unit perfectly and cost half as much. How often are you planning to change yours?
