Finally got why everyone raves about Great Lakes Brewing after sitting at their bar last Friday

I always thought it was just hype but the guy next to me explained their seasonal Dortmunder Gold recipe change and after tasting the difference I finally get it, has anyone else had a similar moment with a local spot?

Ngl sitting at the bar is the only way to truly appreciate a good brewery.

Grab a seat right in front of the taps so you can watch the pour and chat with the bartender about what's fresh. @wyattc76 is spot on about the bar being the best spot because you get the full experience instead of just sitting at a table with a flight. Bartenders always know which batch is hitting just right that day.
