The Lakewood park bathroom key situation got me good last weekend
I was at Lakewood Park with my kids on Saturday, and the little one had to go. We walked all the way to the restroom building near the solstice steps only to find the door locked. The sign said to get the key from the rec center, which was a solid 10 minute walk back the way we came. I had to carry a whining 4-year-old the whole way, get the big plastic key fob, and walk all the way back. By the time we got there, the line was five people deep. I learned you can actually call the rec center number posted on the door and they'll send a staff member over with a key, which saved us on the next bathroom trip. Anyone know other parks on the west side that have this same system, or ones where the bathrooms are just open?
