Found out the West Side Market has been around since 1912 and I had no clue
I was killing time at the West Side Market on a Saturday and actually stopped to read one of those historical plaques by the entrance for once. Turns out the place has been running since 1912, which means over 110 years of vendors slinging produce and pierogies in the same spot. Made me wonder what other old spots around here have stories I've just been walking past, anybody got a favorite one?
