Showerthought: Is Edgewater Park better for morning runs or sunset hangs?
I was at Edgewater Park last Saturday around 7am and had the whole beach to myself, quiet and peaceful. Then I came back at 6pm and it was packed with families and music, totally different vibe. Which time do you think makes the park feel more like the west side's gem?

Read somewhere that the morning light makes the water look like glass, and I gotta say that's spot on. Caught the sunrise there last Thursday and the lake was dead calm, reflections perfect, just a few fishermen out. By 5pm, the whole scene changes - music from parked cars, kids splashing, everyone barbecuing. Both sides have their thing. Honestly the west side's gem status comes from having both those shifts in one day.
