Why I stopped buying salt at Dave's and now hit the West Side Market first
I used to just grab the $2 table salt every grocery run until my neighbor from Gordon Square told me he gets smoked sea salt for less than half at the market stalls. Last Saturday I asked around and one vendor let me taste three kinds, now I get a brick of it every other week for like 6 bucks. Did anyone else sleep on the spice vendors down there for years or am I the only one who was that clueless?
Honestly that sounds like a ton of hassle just to save a few bucks on salt. I'll stick with my $2 shaker from Dave's, it does the exact same thing in my soup lol. Spending your Saturday hunting down spice stalls just so you can say you got a deal seems like a lot of work for nothing.
