I finally got my whole street to switch to the Tuesday compost pickup, 11 houses in 6 weeks
Knocked on doors after our city started charging $8 a bag for trash but kept compost free, and the thing nobody seems to get is that most folks think compost means fancy bins and daily fuss, when really you just keep a bucket in the freezer and dump it once a week, so has anyone else had luck using the price gap instead of guilt to get neighbors on board?
