That deli counter guy in Queens told me to stop dry-running my toolpaths and it finally clicked

Was waiting for a pastrami sandwich and the guy running the slicer said "you wouldn't spin this blade for nothing" and I realized I waste 20 minutes a day running air cuts on the CNC, has anyone else cut that habit out and just trusted their code?

Oh wow, that deli guy just gave you a career breakthrough between slices of pastrami... wild. I bet he'd have some wisdom on chip clearance and feed rates too if you asked nice enough. Guess I'll be cancelling my "toolpath meditation" sessions tomorrow.
